Oskar attended the Febuary Workshop and built a 6'4'' Striper he sent us through a picture of his finished board and it looks great!! It's stained with a maple wood stain and sealed with a marine grade gloss varnish.
Finally done the baby girl.
Plans changed along the way, but I think for the better.
Another eight Hand Made Wooden Surfboards built on the March Workshop. The Splinter range is proving to be very popular with both the 9'1'' and 7'6'' boards being built in most Workshops.
Comprising of a housing and a removable Gore Tex vent they are capable of removing up to 40 litres of air a minute. The Gore Tex material allows air to pass through but not water, therefore relieving your board from built up internal pressure, which can seriously damage your board. Suitable for Hollow Wooden and Polystyrene core surfboards, they're small price to pay to protect your investment, easily retro fitted to any type of board.
Gary's been working on this new project for 2014 they will be available at a half Day Workshop in the new year. We have had a lot of interest from schools and community groups in this simple surf craft.
